The Haldia Integrated Development Agency Limited (HIDAL) was incorporated in March 2005 under the companies Act, 1956. The primary Sponsors of the company are Haldia Development Authority & Haldia Municipality and Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services Ltd. along with local industries viz : Exide Industries Limited, Haldia Petrochemicals Limited and Dhunseri Petrochem Limited.
HIDAL was promoted for implementation of projects sanctioned by Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India under Industrial Infrastructure Up gradation Scheme (IIUS) and development and implementation of Infrastructure projects mainly in Haldia region.
